The Rotary Club of Liamuiga has once again exemplified its commitment to community development and education by donating an assortment of school supplies to the Mol Phil Explorers Club, on Saturday 26 August 2023, at the organization’s headquarters in Molineux.

Rotarians Kaii Dias, Burnell Nisbett, Candisie Franklin, Natasha St. Juste, Dominic Matthew, and Prospective Member Adelia Browne-Lewis presented sixty (60) packages to the members to assist them with their ongoing preparations for the new school year, which starts on Monday 4th September 2023.
According to Secretary Kaii Dias, “Every year, the Rotary Club of Liamuiga organizes our annual Back to School Distribution Drive and this year we choose the Mol Phil Explorers Club, as the beneficiary.  We understand the value of education, which is a stepping stone to many opportunities, and a brighter future for you. Today, we are pleased to hand over these packages to you and wish you every success in the new school year.”

In accepting the welcomed donation, Inspector Rosemarie Isles Joseph, Founder of the Mol Phil Explorers and Coordinator of the Explorers Youth Clubs in St. Kitts and Nevis expressed her gratitude to the Rotarians for the timely contribution.

"On behalf of myself and the Mol Phil Explorers Club, thank you for your kind donation of these school packages. School will begin soon. These school supplies will not only assist our explorers with their education but this kind gesture will teach them the importance of community support and partnership,” said Isles Joesph.
This was followed by a round of applause from the happy children, who also sang the Explorers Club Song and recited the club’s mission with pride in appreciation for the most welcomed gesture.

The presentation was also attended by Dr. Honourable Timothy Harris, Parliamentary Representative, along with parents, and guardians of the young leaders.
